Orlando 2011 Trip Report
Nov. 22, 2011

Late afternoon Saturday, we trekked over to Tampa for Busch Gardens Africa and the Howl-O-Scream party. But before darkness fell...

The vortex of Intamin awesomery that is Cheetah Hunt pulled us in like a Death Star tractor beam.

This was the longest wait for any attraction we rode the entire weekend and it could have been ten times as long for all we cared.

When I become a super-villain, I'm going to have a pet cheetah. I will call her "Lightning" and woe to the minion who disappoints me. "Run... run for your life... MWUAHAHAHAHA!"

Cheetah Rock rocks.

Aesthetically, this is hands-down the most beautiful Intamin coaster ever built. From the impressionistic "cheetah head" lead car to the signature "tree tower" and the bright green and butter-yellow track and support structure, it is eye-candy like very few others.

Rarely are form and function married so thoughtfully in the design of a rollercoaster.
