LA County Fair Trip Report
Sept. 19, 2010

I spotted another fun house and that led us past a row of standard flats, like the Round-Up, here dubbed "Zero Gravity," kind of an odd name I thought. Better for a Rotor, wouldn't you think?

There was also one of these contraptions, which looks cool, but also looks like a puke factory to me.

The kids begged me to join them on this Himalaya/Music Express or whatever it was called, but again, I let them go nuts on their own.

Wheeee!!!!

It was entertaining to watch the tarp close up on 'em.

Then we clambered through the biggest fun house at the fair, the triple-decker Moscow Circus. All kinds of ways to get silly in here.

Plus, the big finale is this neverending spiral of claustrophobic slippy-slidiness.

Here's another one we all just walked right on by. Ugh, that looks so torturous...

Yay, more scary dark ride! This one was a bit better than "Ghost Pirates," but also not quite as stocked with monsters as the impressive exterior would have you believe.

Did earn points, though, for its roundabout lift.

I love me some Turbo Force, but this one actually had something of a line (almost all the other rides were walk-ons), so we kept moving. Because right around the corner was...
