Castle Park Photo Trip Report
June 24, 2012

The Little Dipper is the kiddie kredit, and we didn't make time for this ride, either.

Another pint-sized ride for the pint-sized thrillseeker, beautifully appointed.

The Viking dude at the apex of the Sea Dragon ride? Freaks me RIGHT THE HELL OUT. Seriously.

There wasn't much left to do, but we did have to get the last coaster under our belts and... Oh, NO! Closed?! Yeah, closed. And for the evening, according to the employee I asked. Dang.

That's when we decided to have some dinner, so we swung back around to the Plaza Café. While waiting for the food to be prepared, we watched the Sea Dragon in action. I used to like these swinging boats, but they've lost some of their luster with me. I can take them, or leave them.

Properly fueled for the rest of the night, we bussed our tables and began to move on.

Waitaminit... do you hear that?

All right!

PSYCHED! Let's get demonized!

The Screamin' Demon is a Fabbri spinning mouse, with a distinctive right-angled, two-chain lift hill, and I'm almost positive this was the first of this type of mouse I've ridden.

It's not humongous, but there's a lot of twirling action on the upper switchbacks and some surprise drops.

It's a terrific little thriller and I dig the toothy, demonic snarl on each car. Good stuff! (Be warned, though: if you're over 76" tall, you're out of luck.)
