Carowinds 2012 Photo Trip Report
January 17, 2013

This is one of the coasters we passed on, as it was only open sporadically and wasn't such a unique credit. I totally love the look of the entrance, but I'm not quite sure why they went with the name Ricochet, other than Paramount already owned it when they added this mouse and created the Carolina Boardwalk zone. "Flying Fish," maybe?

Planet Snoopy was the 2010 retheme of the former Nickelodeon kids' section and it still looks brand new, all bright and colorful and kid-friendly. For the record, there was no attempt by anyone in our party to climb Snoopy. (I did hug him when no one was looking, though. I mean, he's clearly offering a hug, right?)

Another credit for another time, but again, the Flying Ace Aerial Chase looked factory-fresh.

AWESOME.

Windseeker was still another ride we rainchecked...

...and I will continue to lobby for this name change until my last breath.
