Later in the day, we caught the Waterworld stunt show, and even after all these years, it is the best of its ilk, by far, that I've ever seen.
It's the Deacon! BOOOOOOOO!
Jet skis and water guns! YAAAAAY!
More jet skis and more water guns! YAAAAAY!
The Seaplane enters, stage left! YAAAAAAY!
KA-BLAMO! Sweetness.
And finally, here's a couple of shots of The Simpsons Ride in its current state:
The Florida version is much further along, but this is looking pretty kewl.
Hey, HEY!
Thank you, come again!
Best. Construction Wall Graphics. Ever.
Miscellany: T2-3D is still a must-do, but the attraction is showing signs of age. They gotta color-balance the video in the pre-show, and the projector lights in the show proper look like they need new bulbs or something; the center and left-hand images were darkish. Cameron should take time offa his Avatar shoot and rework the 3D imagery, too. Shrek's is better.
Backdraft is still awesome. The Special Effects Soundstage, not so much.
This sign above Citywalk made a little girl whimper. I'm ashamed to admit that pleased me somewhat.
That's all for now!
